All UW-Madison courses are required to have course learning outcomes. Course learning outcomes are statements about the knowledge and skills that students are expected to know, be able to do, or value by the end of the course. These outcomes should be shared with students through course syllabi.
This brown bag session will provide faculty and instructors with hands-on experience in writing clear and measurable course learning outcomes. Instructors who teach the same course are especially encouraged to attend together to define common learning outcomes for the course.
